We get lots of questions about our processes and what type of file you should provide, so to make things easier we have listed the answers to some of our most common questions to help you make your decision
For all signage and print requests a vectorised PDF is the best way to send your artwork. Using this file type we can ensure that everything will look exactly as you created it, even if we need to scale the size.
A JPEG file is okay, but if the image is not high quality the prints will appear pixelated or grainy. It is up to you to ensure the image will be high enough quality to print to the size you request.
Depending on what you are after it can take anywhere between a week or a month. For standard print jobs you can expect to wait up to a week depending on lead times.
Fabrication is much harder to average, there are many different factors that impact the wait time. Most of the time you can expect to wait a week or two but if your request is complex and joinery based, it may take up to a month.
If you are unsure about these times just ask when you make your enquiry and we will be able to give you an idea.
Just ask!
As a fabrication shop, creating a real product from a concept is our bread and butter. Our team is made up of exceptionally talented sign makers and fabricators who love a good challenge. If you are unsure you may as well just ask and we will let you know if we can help, or at the very least we can point you in the direction of someone who can.
No, we no longer have access to the equipment Millers hired out or the large joinery department, so we have taken a step back from shop fit outs and hire equipment. We can still help out with small scale fit outs that need some bespoke cabinetry or walling but we are currently focusing on creating bespoke one-off pieces rather than large-scale fit outs.
We have access to the old Millers servers containing most of the artwork and files from that time. The servers were wiped around 2007 so we are missing some things but we have designers who will be able to replicate the old artwork if required.
